On Sept. 25 I’ll be at the McNeil Center at UPenn to talk about a piece I’m currently working on: “Coquetry and Correspondence in Revolutionary Connecticut: Elizabeth Whitman’s Letters to Joel Barlow.” Info on time and location here, as well as instructions for receiving the paper in advance.
