While in NYC, I’ll be straddling the old Hell/Verlaine gap: I’m interviewing Richard Hell at the Strand Bookstore on Thursday, March 20, and presenting on Television’s Marquee Moon at a Classic Album Sundays event on Sunday, March 23.
Punk in the city
I’ll be in New York for the American Comp Lit Association mtgs (March 19-23), presenting in the “Punk in the City” workshop.
Beirut bound
I’ll be in Beirut from 5-9 January for AUB CASAR’s conference on Transnational American Studies. I’ll present on Warhol’s Iranian moment in the mid-’70s.
